Tockwith AFC v Kirk Deighton Rangers Reserves Match Preview.

Tonight, the Reserves bring the curtain down on their Pre-Season games as they take on Tockwith AFC at Tockwith Sports Field.
The match has a 6:30 pm kick-off time and the weather should be fairly decent with sunny intervals expected.
The Opposition.
Tockwith play their football in the York Minster Engineering League Division One. Last season, they finished in 4th place, just one point behind third placed Rawcliffe.
Not a lot is really known about them, as google searches fail to provide a plethora of information. However, they always appear to be in the top half of their league, so it should be a good test for our side.
Head To Head.
The database shows no competitive matches between the two teams, but it is always possible that the two sides have come across each other in Pre-Season’s past.
Team News For Rangers.
With this being the last opportunity for players to stake a claim for a position in the squad that will face Brighouse Sports Old Boys in the season opener on the 17th August, you can guarantee that Manager Kris Macdonald and his coaches will be looking very closely at several areas. With that in mind, it will be a very competitive squad that travels and expect to see serval faces that didn’t play in the match against Rothwell on Tuesday.
What About Tockwith?
To be honest, we haven’t a clue about the team that they will put out, apart from it will be a tough test for us.
