Preview: Old Centralians Reserves

Following our successful return to league football last weekend when Chris Plews and Mike Tasker helped us to a 2-1 win over Sherburn White Rose Reserves, Kris Macdonald takes his team over to Leeds hoping to bring back another three points at the expense of Old Centralians Reserves, but it certainly wont be an easy ride!
Despite languishing in the bottom three and suffering a recent 12-0 defeat against Howden Clough Reserves, our hosts are more than capable of being a very stubborn outfit to break down and it will take us playing some of our best football to make sure that the job is done properly.
On their own turf, they have managed to gain six points from a possible twenty-one. This has been achieved by beating both Altofts Reserves and gaining a home walkover over Pool AFC Reserves. Goals wise, they have scored 11 times (avg. 1.6 goals per game) and conceded 32 (avg. 4.6 goals per game). Ash Anderson is the player for us to keep an eye on as he has scored eight of Old Centralians 23 goals so far.
A win for us, coupled with bad results for both Boroughbridge and Otley Town Reserves could see us leap frog the pair of them into second place. A defeat or draw however, would keep us in fourth.
As of yet, we haven’t been advised who will be the referee for this game.
Should you wish to come and watch this game, then the address you will need is West Park Development Centre Fields, North Parade, West Park, Leeds, LS16 5AY
