The matches are getting tougher for Rangers as West Yorkshire Premier Division side Knaresborough Town come to Barr Field tomorrow night for a 6:45 pm kick-off.
Following F.A guidelines, spectators are welcome to view this match. Please register on arrival by using our track and trace book (located in the bar) and following the one-way system which is signed. Please also remember to maintain social distancing during the game.
Our visitors had a 3-0 win over Pool AFC last Saturday, and have also recorded a 5-1 victory over Drighlington, and a 3-1 win against Bedale. However, they lost 2-1 to Richmond in their opening pre-season match.
Last season, they were in 10th position in the league when football stopped. Containing a mixture of experience and youth throughout, they will be another difficult test for us.
At present, our database highlights eight meetings between the sides. Knaresborough comes out on top with five wins compared to out two. The last time we met, Knaresborough knocked us out of the Whitworth cup 2-1 on the 14 November 2018.
One To Watch
Cameron Bedford has three goals to his name so far this pre-season, and with several other players weighing in with a couple as well, Rangers will have to be wary of threats all over the pitch.
The management will be putting out a strong team for this game but will continue to experiment with new combinations ahead of the new season.
Due to a previous commitment, our Media Team may not be at this match. We will, however, bring you the final score and information as soon as we can.
