Kirk Deighton Rangers v Kippax FC Match Preview

Rangers will hope to pick up their second win of 2020 tomorrow when they welcome Kippax FC to Barr Field.
This West Yorkshire League One game will start at 2 pm, and the weather is forecast to be mainly sunny interviews.
The Opposition.
Despite lying bottom of the table, Kippax presents a very difficult challenge and one that Rangers will have to be at their best at to overcome.
On their travels, our visitors are yet to record a win from the eight games that they have played and have just the single point courtesy of a recent 1-1 draw against Wyke Wanderers.
Kippax have struggled to score on the road, having recorded just five (avg. 0.6 goals scored per away game) and have conceded 35 (avg. 4.4 goals conceded per away game).
Looking at the FA website goalscorers page, Rangers defence will have to watch Thomas Micklethwaite-Charles, as he leads the Kippax goal chart with six strikes so far.
A win for us could take us into joint second, whilst a defeat could see Kippax climb out of the bottom three.
Head-To-Head.
According to the database, there are just two meetings in our history, and both of these occurred last season. A tough game at Kippax, which needed a late penalty by Charlie Yates to give us a point with a 1-1 draw, was followed by a 2-0 win at Barr Field with goals from Danny Grannon and Adam Carter.
Team News For Rangers.
According to the FA website, Joe Barden should be back following his two-match suspension and may well feature. Hopefully, Jonty Smith will have recovered from the knock that he received against Hartshead during the 2-1 win. This will be an area that the Management will review up to naming their final side.

Man In The Middle.
The referee for this game is Mr Jimmy Price. This match will be his sixth in charge this season with two more as Assistant Referee. According to the FA Website, Mr Price has issued just two yellow cards so far.
As with any official, opposition team and fans who visit us, we hope that Mr Price has a pleasant and hassle-free time with us.
