Football returns to Barr Field on Saturday as our Reserves welcome Pool AFC Reserves for a 2 pm kick-off.
A look ahead at the weather shows that we will be in for a decent day with light cloud and a gentle breeze.
As we come to the end of the year, Pool AFC lie in 10th place however a win could see them close the gap on both Wyke Wanderers and Tingley Athletic. Defeat to us could see them drop into bottom place!
Claiming points away from home seems to be troublesome for Pool with just one taken from a possible fifteen. Goals wise, they have also found problems scoring with four registered (averaging 0.8 goals per away game scored) and 29 conceded (averaging 5.8 goals per away game conceded)
Head To Head.
The two teams have already met in the opening month of this season when a goal from Chris Plews and doubles from Will Hodson and Tom Dickinson saw Rangers run out 5-1 winners.
There has been a total of three other meetings in the cup and league and, so far, we lead with victories in all of these games.
Team News For Rangers.
Due to postponements, our Reserves have now had over a month off, so Manager Kris Macdonald will be hoping that several players have been able to recover from knocks that they received. However, with the festive period still underway for many, he may be without several players for this match.
The Man In The Middle.
Mr Max Fiterman is the referee for this game, and this will be his seventh match in charge. He has also been Assistant Referee for four other games.
In his matches as the referee, Mr Fiterman has shown ten yellow cards, sent no players to the sin-bin or dismissed any players.
As with any official, opposition team and fans who visit us, we hope that Mr Woods has a pleasant and hassle-free time whilst with us.

We will be open an hour before the match starts. Our clubhouse will be ready to serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks should you want one before kick-off.
If you have any spare change that you would like to donate, we will have our prostate Cancer UK collection boxes around the clubhouse. You can also buy one of their great Men United Pin Badges for a pound from these boxes as well.
We are also accepting donations for the Wetherby and District Foodbank. Please see any of our club officials who will take your generous donation.
To end, we will be presenting our Bar Three Man Of The Match award to the winning Kirk Deighton Rangers player.
